Welcome to 8B!
**Please note that all incoming 8th-grade students must attend Mass weekly during the summer and complete homily notebooks. These will be collected and checked in the first week of school. This notebook will count as a test grade before Confirmation. Confirmation is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, 2026.**
Welcome to 8th Grade
Dear Students:
Have a wonderful summer vacation and get ready for your last year at Saint Dominic School! It will be a year filled with meaningful learning experiences and lots of fun activities. We are looking forward to a great year.
To keep your skills sharp, you will be asked to complete two summer assignments. Check Mrs. Galas’s or Ms. May’s webpage for the summer math requirement and Mrs. Lagnese’s webpage for your summer reading assignment.
On the first day of school, please bring the following supplies along with a healthy snack.

Clear contact paper will be needed to cover workbooks. |

*The Blue Jay folder is to be purchased at Saint Dominic School. Please send $2.00 in an envelope marked with your child’s name on the first day of school. All other supplies may be purchased outside of school.
Note: You will have the option of purchasing your own planner, purchasing the school planner for $4.00, or using Google Calendar to keep track of your assignments.
