Policy for admission to Saint Dominic School:

The demand for a quality Catholic education in Saint Dominic School far exceeds the number of spaces available even for parishioners. Therefore, the following policy will be in effect for admittance into pre‑school through eighth grades:

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Saint Dominic Parishioners who have sibling(s) in the school
  2. Saint Dominic Parishioners
  3. Families of other Catholic parishes

CRITERIA

  1. Proper Age
  2. Date of registration in Saint Dominic Parish
  3. All required registration information submitted
  4. Space Availability

*Parishioner status is based on regular Mass attendance and use of church envelopes for at least one year.   In admitting children to pre-school, they must be 3 or 4 years of age by October 1st.   Kindergarten children must be 5 years old by October 1st.   At time of registration, original certificates of birth, Baptism, social security, and current health and immunization records must be presented.

Saint Dominic School expects all students and their parents/guardians to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by administration in the school handbook.   Parents/guardians are also expected to disclose all prior academic, medical, and psychological reports on their child so that Saint Dominic School can more effectively service their child.   All students accepted to Saint Dominic School are on probation throughout the first two trimesters of the school year pending successful academic effort and conduct appropriate for Catholic School students.
